This policy explains what we collect when you submit a Cafe STARters form on our website, Facebook, or Instagram, how we use it, and your choices. It applies only to information submitted through those forms.

What we collect

When you submit one of our forms, we receive the information you provide or allow Meta to pre-fill, which may include:

• Your name, email address, and phone number

• Your answers to form questions, such as where you are in planning your cafe, your location, and your timeline

• The date you submitted the form and which ad or form you responded to

We do not ask for payment information, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal information through these forms.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Send you what you requested, such as the free Cafe Pre-Build Checklist or waitlist updates

• Follow up about our workshops, 1:1 support, and discovery calls

• Send occasional emails about Cafe STARters programs and resources (you can unsubscribe at any time)

• Understand who we serve so we can improve our workshops and content

How we share it

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Cafe STARters, and only as needed for the purposes above:

• Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), which hosts the form

• Squarespace, which hosts our website

• Acuity Scheduling, if you book a call or workshop

• Squarespace Marketing, which sends our emails

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Meta's role

Meta collects and processes information under its own policies when you use Facebook or Instagram. This policy covers only what Cafe STARters does with the information you send us. See Meta's Privacy Policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you remain on our contact list or are engaged with our programs. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove it within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records for legal or accounting reasons.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe: Use the link at the bottom of any email.

• Access, correct, or delete: Email us at [contact email] and we will respond within 30 days.

• Text messages: If we text you, reply STOP to opt out.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including access limited to our team and reputable service providers. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Age

Our forms and programs are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
